Valeriy Georgiev finished the Secondary Military Sergeant Music School in Sofia (1995) and graduated from “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Music Academy in Sofia in two majors – French horn taught by Prof. Stefan Kanchev (2000) and opera singing taught by Associate Prof. Ivanka Ninona (2006).

The start of his full-time artistic activity was as a soloist with the Orchestra of “Stefan Makedonski” State Music Theater (1998 – 2009).

 

 

He was given the position of a regular guest-soloist with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.

At the Bucharest Opera House he played the roles of Prince Ramiro in La Cenerentola by Rossini and Ernesto in Don Pasquale by Donizetti.

At the Varna Opera he has performed the roles of the Duke in Rigoletto by Verdi, Roasted Swan in Carmina Burana and philosopher Catullus in Catulli Carmina by Carl Orff, Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville and Count Ory in Le comte Ory by Rossini.
